Download libraries | Nicole Scherzinger Wallpaper | Nicole Scherzinger was born on June 29 in Honolulu, and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. While attending a performing arts high school, she won the Coca-Cola Classic Talent Contest and performed in many plays at The Actors Theatre of Louisville. She then furthered her studies majoring in theater arts at Wright State University before entering the premiere season of the WB's television show, "Popstars" (2000/I), where she earned the role of lead vocalist in the female pop group, "Eden's Crush".

Outside of her work with The Pussycat Dolls, Nicole recently performed with Japanese superstar, Yoshiki Hayashi, at the Tokyo International Forum of Japan and had guest appearances on "My Wife and Kids" (2001) and "Wanda at Large" (2003). Nicole also has a single, "Breakfast in Bed", out on Adam Sandler's 50 First Dates (2004) soundtrack.

Nicole Scherzinger - Boomerang

0

Download libraries | Nicole Scherzinger - Boomerang | What is it with Nicole Scherzinger? This is one Diva who can dance, can sing and has an eye for the "X-Factor". So how is it that she never seems to quite hit the mark with her own material! New singleBoomerang is no different.

Produced by Will.I.Am, Boomerang is unfortunately a rather dull and flat experience. I would have loved to have heard Nicole's tones over his typical, more jagged production, but for some reason Mr I.Am decided to play Russian roulette with Nicole's comeback and dish out this undercooked record when Scherzy came knocking. I only hope she didn't pay full whack for the pleasure.

What Boomerang really needed- if we are to accept the production- was a characterful lead vocal. Katy Perry may not compare to Nicole as a singer, but her style of personality-infused delivery is exactly what this song is crying out for. As it is, Nicole's voice didn't keep this listener's interest for the duration of the track, or leave any memorable imprint once it had finished.

I suppose if Boomerang fails to catch on with the general public it can always be marketed as an anthem for stalkers the world over. Doesn't matter how you make those sales, just as long as you're making em! Am I right?
